Russell Crowe's "UFO" pictures, taken just outside his home . . . have now been explained. It's actually a sailboat.

First off, even though he said so, Crowe apparently wasn't trying to capture pictures of fruit bats rising from Botanic Gardens nor did he even take the photos himself.  

A paranormal expert explaine that the video is not in fact time lapse photography, it’s a timed exposure, a fairly commonly technique that often results in stretched or other unusual looking lighting effects. Second, whoever took the images used a telephoto lens, which distorts the perceived distance in the images.

The expert was a little surprised that Russell didn’t realize what the photos actually were because he sees this every day right outside his window coming from the marina.....a SAILBOAT!!
