Justin Timberlake apologized Friday for the video mocking homeless people made by his friend for the singer’s $6.5 million Italian wedding to Jessica Biel. In the letter Justin calls the video “distasteful,” and explains that contrary to reports, it was not shown at the wedding and he had nothing to do with its creation. "I am deeply sorry to anyone who was offended by [it],” he writes. "I was always taught that we as people, no matter what your race, sex, or stature may be, are equal." As for the friend who made the video, Justin writes, “My friends are good people. This was clearly a lapse in judgment which I'm sure no one who is reading this is exempt from. But, I don't believe it was made to be insensitive."
