I'm the "Murphy" half of Murphy & Meg. My first name is Dave but my friends call me "Murphy" or "Murph" (or some other names that aren't so nice!) I was born and raised in Madison, WI where I spent the first 17 years of my radio career before coming to Milwaukee and Oldies 95.7 in 2004. I love music and sharing my passion for it with you. I’ve wanted to be in broadcasting since I was 3 years old and got a “wooden” microphone for Christmas! I started on the radio (for real) shortly after my 16th birthday.
When I'm not working, I'm usually spending time with my wife, Jana, my daughters Riley (14), Lindsey (8) & Julia (<1) and my sons Trent (15) & David (6.)
Classy, mature, sophisticated … not even close! Some things you might not know about me: I can’t cook to save my life, I am an obnoxiously finicky eater and have a laugh (read: cackle) that brings small children to tears. He called Rosie O'Donnell "a failure" and now Donald Trump has opened his mouth again — and this time he's going after Cher.
The real estate mogul slammed the singer on Fox News Monday, calling her "lonely and miserable." The conversation with Greta Van Susteren later turned to Trump's tweet war with Cher over her comments on Mitt Romney.
Last week Cher tweeted, "If ROMNEY gets elected I don't know if I can breathe same air as Him & his Right Wing Racist Homophobic Women Hating Tea Bagger Masters." Trump later responded, "@Cher should stop with the bad plastic surgery and nasty statements about good people running for office. I can't stand her computer enhanced voice or music."
Trump told Van Susteren on Monday: "She's lonely, she's unhappy, she's very miserable, and her sound-enhanced and computer-enhanced music doesn't do it for me, believe me."

Last year Bernie Brewer went missing and lawn ornaments depicting were hidden in parks across the Milwaukee Area. Although the concept was great, several greedy fans spoiled the fun by hoarding the mini Bernies.
This year Brewers fans were invited to find the missing Chorizo Sausage as 2,000 lawn ornaments were hidden around Miller Park in a much more organized campaign. There was a strict limit of one ornament per person and Brewers staff were on hand to monitor the scavenger hunt activities.
Prizes ranged from game tickets for a Spring Madness game to the chance to have breakfast on the spot with Brewers Hall of Fame pitcher Rollie Fingers!

Here's a great website to hit up for Mother's Day. It's a form created by a fake organization called the American Coalition for Labor Reparations, and it helps you calculate how much MONEY you owe your mom for giving birth to you. It assigns monetary values to everything from her total hours in labor, to her stretch marks. Check it out at ACFLR.org.
I had the time of my life when I got the chance to fly with Milwaukee's 128th Air National Guard Refueling Wing. We hit speeds upwards of 350 MPH when we headed out over Colorado to refuel a couple of B2 Stealth Bombers! Even the guard members along on the flight were giddy with excitement at this elite opportunity! And after seeing what incredible feats these men and women accomplish 30,000 feet up and at 300 miles an hour, I have an endless amount of respect for them. Thank you to all the men and women at the 128th for all you do!

According to a new survey, 67%of Americans admit they fall asleep somewhere other than their bed at least once every few weeks. 12% have fallen asleep at work . . . 7% at church . . . 5% in a car, including 2% while driving . . . 4% on the toilet . . . 3% in meetings . . . and 1% at a bar, party, concert, standing up, in the shower, or during "BOWLING!"
Murphy admits that he's fallen asleep in meetings before and I reminded him that I have video proof...although in this instance he denies it! ~Meg
