Nick Lachey of 98 Degrees (from left), Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men and Jonathan Knight of New Kids on the Block announce the tour involving their three groups.

It's going to be boy bands galore at the Marcus Amphitheater when The Package Tour, featuring New Kids on the Block, 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men, headlines Summerfest on July 2.

The news will make fans swoon. Shows all across the country have been announced for the tour, including two dates at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill., in late July that made a Summerfest appearance seem unlikely. And despite going on tour nearly every year since reuniting in 2008 after a 14-year hiatus, NKOTB hasn't played in Milwaukee since that year.

But the timing was apparently right. NKOTB will play new songs from forthcoming album "10," and this is the first tour for 98 Degrees, featuring Nick and Drew Lachey, in 12 years.

Tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. Feb. 23 at the Summerfest box office, Walmart stores with Ticketmaster outlets, (800) 745-3000 and Ticketmaster.com. Show time and prices have yet to be announced.  Kiss
