Cream Cheese Cut-Out Cookies

Ingredients:
Cookie Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
3 oz. cream cheese
2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp vanilla

Cream Cheese Icing Ingredients:
3 oz. cream cheese
1/3 cup butter
3 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp milk

Directions:
Cookie Instructions:

Beat butter and cream cheese for about 30 seconds, or until well blended.

Add half of flour and all other remaining cookie ingredients, beat thoroughly. Beat in remaining flour until thoroughly blended.

Chill at least 1 hour.

Roll dough and cut-out cookies into your favorite holiday shapes.

Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.

Cool cookies and frost with cream cheese icing.

Cream Cheese Icing Instructions:

Beat cream cheese and butter until thoroughly blended.

Slowly beat in remaining ingredients.

Tint with food coloring, if desired.
