Black Walnut Cookies

Ingredients:
3/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon cloves
2 1/4 cups flour
1 cup chopped black walnuts

Directions:
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Sift together dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture. Shape into 3 rolls, about 1 inch in diameter. Chill overnight in refrigerator. Then cut into thin slices and bake at 350 degrees for about 8 minutes, until lightly touched with brown.
