Snickerdoodles
Ingredients:
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup Crisco
1 1/3 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 Tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
Directions:
In a large bowl beat together margarine, Crisco and sugar until creamy.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
In another bowl stir together flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt.
Gradually add to wet mixture.
In a small bowl combine cinnamon and sugar.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls, then roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat.
Place about two inches apart on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes
