Nutty Cracker Delights
Ingredients:
42 club crackers (2 1/2" x 1")
1 1/2 sticks butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup slivered almonds
Directions:
Place crackers in a single layer in a foil-lined 15x10x1" baking pan.
In a saucepan over medium heat melt butter then add sugar bringing to a boil stirring constantly.
Boil 2 min.
Remove from heat, add vanilla.
Pour mixture evenly over crackers. Sprinkle with almonds.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Immediately remove from pan cutting between crackers if necessary & cool on wire racks.
Store in an airtight container. Makes 3 1/2 dozen. Freezes well.
