HOW Fans Smuggled Giant 'L' FLAG Into Miller Park

The Cubs have a tradition where they fly a “W” flag whenever the team wins. So, die-hard Brewers fan Jay Ryan got an idea. He managed to find a GINORMOUS custom-made 'L' flag on the internet, bought it and he and his wife smuggled it into the Brewers-Cubs game at Miller Park on September 4 inside their daughter’s Little Mermaid backpack! Security checked the backpack and found the flag, but said flags are legal and allowed the couple to bring it in.

And, wouldn’t you know, the Crew pulled off a huge 11-1 win over Chicago, allowing Ryan & his wife the chance to fly their flag proudly! The blue masterpiece is 25 feet by 15 feet, but Ryan says he’s already ordered a bigger one - 50 feet by 25 feet!
